Men and women of all races are allowed to join , but an exhaustive search of profiles on the site reveals membership to be primarily black and white and almost exclusively heterosexual. Like the other sites operated by Utah-based Mingle Match (, and ), is profanity-free, friendly and simple to use. Unlimited free membership entitles users to the two-way "Ideal Match" service, detailed profile searches, the ability to send and receive smiles (Icebreakers) and e-cards and to participate in (but not initiate) instant messaging. Paid members can initiate instant messaging, send and receive Mingle Mail (the on-site email service), chat and post messages on the site's message boards. Anyone can take the Color Code Personality Quiz, although a more detailed profile costs money. Unfortunately, this rather generic site doesn't seem to have many features geared toward an audience of wannabe interracial daters - is identical to all the other Mingle Match sites except for the membership itself. ' level of activity appears fairly low - 261 men and under 200 women across the U.S. and around the world had uploaded photos within the past 14 days. A profile search on a larger, generic matching site like Match.com might actually match people with more would-be interracial-daters.
