A personals warning
's signup process and site navigation are largely trouble-free, with a few incidents of slow page loads. The first unsettling sign comes in the form of a small-print disclaimer at the bottom of the free site-tour. It reads "some of the pictures and testimonials on these pages were created to get users in the mood and is not entirely truthful." Nevertheless, 's sheriff's office (showing a photo of what could easily be the cutest sheriff the Wild West ever saw) promises to investigate any fake profiles.
Women rule 's adult dating community
Inside , one of the buttons encourages women to respond to all the emails they receive from men. The Sexual Salvation Army button urges women to "Help these lonely guys get laid." The Seven Commandments of Active Pursual vows, "We shall respond to all messages we receive from men," "We shall fill up our photo galleries with our hottest pictures," "We shall come to the site frequently to look for men," and so on. Inside 's Women Only Forum, the note warns you that "Any messages containing foul or offensive language will be deleted." All of these inconsistencies undermine the integrity of the site and make you wonder if is really here to serve women's adult dating needs, even if it claims, and appears, to be run by women.
Search for people to "meet" with
There's also something confusing about 's search mechanism. If you go to "Find a F**k," you'll have the option to search for potential adult dates by specifying the desired gender (men, lesbians, bisexual women) without the ability to display only those profiles with photos. On the other hand, if you pick Advanced Search, you get to specify your preferred mate's location, appearance, sexual behavior, profession, the ability to choose only ads with photos; but the gender field is conspicuously absent. It appears that the field becomes predetermined. In other words, if you are a woman, then automatically assumes you want to search the database for men. But what if you are a woman looking for another woman? What good would it do to be able to specify in detail your mate's hair color or body hair volume (yes, that's an option) if you can't specify the right gender?
Tailor your personals ad to represent your sexual desires
To its credit, has a responsive organization rep (the lovely Nicole) who addresses members' issues in the forum. It also offers Pink Points, redeemable by cash or prizes, to dedicated members. If you are a woman too shy (or too lazy) to initiate contact, you can use the Introduction Service, which will forward your message en masse to the new male members (it's unclear how you can take advantage of this feature if you're a woman looking for another woman). 's innovative Choose Your Skin feature lets you pick something from a choice of faded images to use as background for your profile. Similarly, you can pick an image that describes what you prefer to do on your adult dates (a picture is worth a thousand words). You can really get creative by picking something that reflects your personality or sexual preference and write your profile to match the chosen image.
Free membership for women with adult interests makes it worth the trouble
Judging on features and functionalities, is not a bad site, but the awkward search functions, the inconsistencies and the difficulty to verify the company behind it are drawbacks. If you are a woman, you might want to take advantage of the free membership to meet and mingle with other adult daters, but tread carefully.
